The agreement, in plain order

Last updated 12 August 2026 · plain-language summary first, full terms below

You keep every right in the documents you bring. We provide a service to read across them, and we are responsible for keeping it available and honest. Either side can end the arrangement, and you can take your library with you.

1 · The service

What Unfathomed provides, what a space is, and what a sounding does and does not promise. Bridges are research leads, not conclusions.

2 · Your content and rights

You retain ownership of everything you upload. You grant only the licence needed to operate the service for you, and it ends when you delete the content.

3 · Acceptable use

Do not upload material you have no right to process, and do not use the service to redistribute publisher content. Rate and volume limits are stated per tier.

4 · Availability and support

Target availability, maintenance practice, support response expectations, and what happens during an incident.

5 · Fees, renewal and cancellation

Billing cycles, proration, what happens at the end of a term, and how the free tier behaves when limits are reached.

6 · Liability and governing law

The customary allocations of risk, and the jurisdiction in which they are read.
